Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can mop and sweep in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum cleaner mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase but its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while taking care of wet messes look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and best robot vacuum and mop vacuum combo comes with an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
