It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot vacuum that vacuums and mops is a great choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can handle regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
