Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade item is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and other tools for gathering in order to increase attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item upgrader being upgraded is above a certain level. Certain upgrade items also come with special effects when applied to an item. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by Karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.

There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be used on any kind of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used to upgrade certain items that have been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an Item Upgrader Kit, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item, while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well registered trademark symbols such as ellipses, swashes, and swashes. If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of different views. Rerolling
