Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Look for models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.

Many of the best robot vacuum and mop models work with your smartphone. Check for an app that lets you save maps, create schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic hoovers mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.

This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good robot vacuum, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good, with a pair spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply moving the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning robot mop and vacuum is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
