WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item however they'll always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item Level upgrade will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and accessories. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will display an image of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item upgrade and current item level upgrade level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Item upgraders can be found in many places including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the chance to obtain a new recipe. Crests

When it comes to upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests can only be spent on equipment that is of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complicated requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons with all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons to obtain endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't too difficult, but the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. For example, once an item is at the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one use, so it's important to use them wisely. For instance it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the best equipment available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
