WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrading by 3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for the latter due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will be based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which will display a preview of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and current Item Level Upgrade level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used.
