Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item upgrader can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools to boost their level of use. The upgrade item costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and other tools for gathering in order to increase attributes bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. The item being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above an amount. Some upgrade items also have special effects when applied to an item upgrader. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and used as rewards.

There are a variety of upgrade components available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enhancements are able to be used on back equipment that has been ascended. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.

Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade item components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you add and view these unique characters, along with common symbols like em and en dashes as well as registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats which will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs that are available to you. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the selected item upgrading. Every weapon, jewelry, or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and increase the number of nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled and therefore are worth checking out for.

If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by choosing an option below "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of getting the character or weapon you'd like. This can be done for you to increase your level faster or to get more loot, such as an additional weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters they like, regardless of their power. This could be due to the fact that they like the character's style or personality.

It is important to make a clean change when you reroll. You should test locally to see if the patch passes pre-commit and run a Core dev test. The patch should be uploaded with a plain difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck you have. During this time, it is recommended to avoid enemy camps that are optional to cut down on time. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later in the game. This will save time and energy.

When rerolling, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's power and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.

Rerolling isn't a required element of the game however it can be beneficial to increase your chances of getting an item or character. It can be used to find the best character or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.

Sets

A set is a group of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of the class). Sets can be used for operations like union, intersection and differences.

Upgrades make a set item more effective than it was prior to. For armor and weapons, this means it gains a higher base defense value and a lower strength requirement and a lower level requirement.

Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets up to parity with those in higher-end sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.

It's important to remember that not all items in an assortment can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already exceptional and elite in their individual ways and do not need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to improve their performance. For these kinds of items, it may be worth the extra cost to upgrade them.
