If you're looking to save money and don't want a stroller that can double up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competitors and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also has a multi-position reclining seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed to be a bit rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging strollers. However, they also manufacture a vast selection of pushchairs with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to use and folds up small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers that we tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable, unlike some other prams' hoods which get turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit in, however the seat's depth is not as deep as other joggers we've tried (it's about 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. It is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters that will fit the majority of bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them from the very first day using adapters that work with brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
