Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item upgrader kit by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear to upgrade item gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be applied and an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade item track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to gain the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item upgrader kit (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
