It will even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through an efficient.

It's extremely quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings easily. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help draw out debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates quickly and uses 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots that vacuum and mop. This is useful in difficult corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and performs well however this is something that you'll have to be aware of if you're buying this robot hoover vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean methodically and efficiently. This results in an efficient, consistent clean that is also quite quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad is capable of reaching many surfaces. They can reach corners or baseboards, as well as other hard-to-reach spots. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it also has distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.

The base comes with several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic vacuum cleaner and mop emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't function until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
