Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about twelve cleaning sessions before it has to be empty, but this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and auto vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option to meet your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

The robot is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge space around obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.

The app is streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to.
