Path of Exile Item upgrader kit Upgrades

Upgrades to items are a common and crucial method to enhance the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can provide extra damage, AD or even affixes.

Often times however, upgraded Common and Magic gear is outclassed by Rare-grade equipment due to their high requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a kind of upgrade that can be applied to weapon and armor items. They boost the performance of the item that they're attached to. Armor upgrades are available in the world of the game and purchased from Blacksmiths on bonfires. They can also be salvaged by using an expert or higher salvage kit to salvage upgrades from the items.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it will absorb. The upgrade of an armor piece to its highest upgrade level will boost the damage it absorbs. However, it's important be aware that this upgrade will raise its weight, requiring it to weigh more than before.

There are several different types of armor upgrades available in the game. Each one has a distinct impact. For instance, certain upgrades will grant the armor a certain amount of health points while others will make it lighter and stronger. The name of the upgrade will indicate the type of upgrade an item can be given, as illustrated below.

A few upgrades are magic or a hybrid of technology and magic which is indicated by the "Magic" or "Hybrid" entry in the table below. Some upgrades also require charges to use. Weapons

Jewels

Jewels can be used to improve the stats of a character or to provide additional effects on weapons and armor. The quality of a diamond can be improved upon by the Jeweler, in stages that vary from Crude to Royal. The stat boosts can vary according to the tier that the jewel is in when it's inserted into jewelry, weapons, or gear.

All kinds of jewels can be made at the Jeweler, with the exception of the rare and legendary gems that require you to be at a certain level to be able to get them. Jewels can be replaced by another one without damaging the original. However you can only swap out the jewels in an item upgrader kit of equipment once.

Utilizing more jewels in the movement will make it feel smoother and is usually used for aesthetic reasons. The jewels can also enhance performance and create a harder surface than metal so that repeated friction from pivots does not cause damage to the movement.

In addition to the above-mentioned upgrades players can also obtain glyphs for their shields and weapons from a Glyphmaster. Trinkets

Trinkets can be used to give your character various small, but valuable benefits. They are available in the start-up area as loot or personal story rewards. They are also available from vendors and by the completion of road interactions. They can be found on the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinket players will be able to unlock is the cloak. It gives a small but beneficial boost in movement speed and evasion. The player can then collect rings, amulets and necklaces in a similar manner to how they acquired weapons and armor. Each piece of gear comes with one upgrade slot that can accommodate either a universal upgrade or a jewel upgrade. Universal upgrades are smaller and can be utilized on any device. Jewels cannot be upgraded or replaced and are only compatible with certain trinkets.

These trinkets also grant additional buffs and skills that are active when the hero is not fighting. This allows the hero to be more efficient when they are not active. It can also make up for the lack of a strong team or talent tree slots that are normally filled by a hero's top stats.

A good guideline for trinket upgrades is to prioritize BiS (Best item upgrade-in-Slot) items that you will not replace soon, followed by any items with desirable stats that are less important than the iLevel of the item upgrade that is being upgraded. This is especially true when you're looking to upgrade several statistics on an item upgrader. It's best to upgrade just one crucial stat rather than two suboptimal ones.
