iRobot recommends you clear out areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it may encounter. In our tests the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces kinds including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces recurring cost.

The flat front of the unit allows it reach into corners and along the edges of walls, which is a nice touch.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt technology to steer clear of obstacles and guide you through your home. It's not equipped with the capabilities for mapping of more advanced models, such as our top picks, the i3+EVO and j7+ Series. 5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

Samsung is a name that is found on all kinds of home electronics, so it comes as no surprise that they're also one of the most reputable robotic vacuum and mop makers. Jet Bot AI+ has a cutting-edge onboard technology to navigate and avoid obstacles.

The app offers a variety of options to customize your robotic cleaner. This includes mopping levels, virtual barriers and behavior modifications, docking frequency settings and many more. It's easy to understand and is user-friendly, which is the case with other Samsung devices.

In our tests in our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and it removed 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). It did not do well in avoiding taller items like socks or cords.
