WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for the latter because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display an image of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Upgraders for items are available at many locations, including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining an entirely new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases depending on the amount of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be increased by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.

The discount on the account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
