Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

The upgrading of your item upgrader is an essential factor in maximizing the power of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the value of your item's base level.

Each upgrade template comes with set options that can be configured through the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update the upgrade system for armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been reworked. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item upgrader kit that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot.
