It also comes with a mop lifter system that will lift the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. The price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most expensive robotic autonomous vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own cleaner of choice.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming.
