Evolution Korea

Until recently, Korea's scientific community has been hesitant to engage with creationists, afraid that doing so could give the movement more credibility. But silence is no longer an option.

The STR has been battling to get rid of textbooks that describe evolution, such as the discovery of the feathered dinosaur Archaeopteryx as an ancestral bird's ancestor. However, this is just one aspect of the evolution of the developmental paradigm.

What is Evolution?

Evolution is a scientific theory that explains the changes in genetic characteristics of living organisms over time. Over the course of many generations, these changes can result in the creation of new species. Natural selection is the most popular theory of evolution. It explains how people with advantageous traits are more likely to reproduce and survive than those with less advantageous traits. In time, this disparity in reproduction can lead to the development of entirely new species.
