The other day, I had a dinner party with people who have been kind to me.

The gourmet organizer arranged for us to enter the restaurant at sunset...

When we entered the restaurant, the scenery was so beautiful that it was mesmerizing.

I would like to emulate the organizer's kind consideration.

First, we toasted with sparkling wine.

The sky gradually turned indigo.

The beautiful night view of Tokyo spread out below us.

The cold appetizer was confit of the first bonito of the season.

The sour cream with myoga ginger added an accent.

The bonito was sticky and delicious.

The hot appetizer was tilefish and white asparagus fritters.

Served with fresh mustard and butterbur miso mayonnaise.

A spring-like taste

A refreshing dry white wine

Paired with Loire Sauvignon

Pasta with Sakura trout, horse mackerel, and Sakura shrimp in a pesto sauce.

My companion ordered Carbonara gnocchi with a hint of truffle.

What a happy course that also came with pasta...

For the fish dish, we had pan-fried Spanish mackerel.

It was fluffy and soft... with clams and a great broth... it was very delicious.

For the main course, we had grilled shoulder loin of black pork from Kagoshima.

This also had a slight truffle flavor.

Paired with a heavy red wine

For dessert, we had millefeuille.

We were full and very satisfied.

It was late into the night... the glittering night view.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to see the night view of Tokyo.

After that, we went back to Marunouchi and went to a bar near the clinic.

I had no idea that such an adult area was located in the basement of the Baccarat store that I usually pass by without thinking about it.

Drinking from a Baccarat glass makes it taste three times better.

It really is beautiful.

Finally, the COVID-19 infection has been classified as Class 5, and I feel that the town has regained its former vitality.
