Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
